ＳＯＭＰＯ美術館は、「シダネルとマルタン展」(会期：２０２２年３月２６日～６月２６日)における、ゴッホ《ひまわり》ポストカードの売り上げの一部と、美術館内に設置した募金箱への募金（合計８８８，０９７円）を、ウクライナおよび近隣国における人道支援活動へ寄付いたしました。皆さまからの温かいご支援を賜り、厚く御礼申し上げます。

なお、この活動は、世界的に平和の象徴とされる「ひまわり」に関連して、ＳＯＭＰＯホールディングスおよび損保ジャパンと連携し、ＳＯＭＰＯ美術館が収蔵しているゴッホ《ひまわり》を通じて行った取り組みであり、ＳＯＭＰＯホールディングスおよび損保ジャパンの取り組みにつきましても多数の方にご賛同いただき、寄付の実施が完了しておりますので、あわせてご報告いたします。（詳細はこちら）

Sompo Museum of Art made donations to international humanitarian organizations* to support people in Ukraine amounting to a total 888,097 Japanese Yen. The amount is part of the revenue from the sales of the post card of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and the contributions given to the donation box by spectators during the exhibition “Henri Le Sidaner – Henri Martin”. We would like to thank all those who donated for your warm support and kind cooperation.

Sompo Museum of Art houses Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers in its collection, and because the sunflower has been regarded globally as a symbol of peace, the museum made these contributions to support people in Ukraine with the collaboration of Sompo Holdings, Inc. and Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. We would also like to announce that the donation activities by Sompo Holdings, Inc. and Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. were also successfully completed thanks to everyone’s cooperation.
